Crazy header I know, but what I am saying is the YYZ Toronto Maple Leafs got hit by a thunderclap the other day, while with their current ‘streak’, the YVR Vancouver Canucks are still anyone’s bet. Last year, the Canucks were so close to winning their first Stanley Cup; but with the hooligans after Game 7, the mixture of our culture, behaviours and rewards, the loss was a painful one for Vancouver fans; perhaps more so after Team Canada had just won the Olympic Gold Medal at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games.
If I had to make a sports bet about the Canucks’ finish this year, I would say they will win the Stanley Cup, Kassian is going to kick some butt, Raymond will turn around, Malhotra will target, Luongo will get bailed out by Schneider and the Sedins will rise up undoubtedly. It should be good!
Which takes me to say this: if you have serious interest in the NHL Playoffs and Stanley Cup Final, do your calculations and see who YOUR team is to win big for you. At this point of course, I am for the Canucks.
